"I write songs because I can express my deepest thoughts through music - the kind of things one cannot just say in everyday conversation. My songs are about things I have seen, felt and lived through in my life thus far, and of course what I believe to be the truth for me. I tend to live in the future but I want to live in the present, to do so I have to go back to the past. This is not an easy task for me, by any means, but it is where I draw my power and lyrics from."
